A Case of Cogenital Right Bochdalek Hernia

Abstract

|
Congenital diaphragmatic hernia throgh foramenn of Bochdalek is one of the surgical emergencies, particularly in neborn and infant, because most of the case accompany the herniation of the intraabdominal viscera into the thoracic cavity resulting in cardiopulmonary distress. The most common site of congenital Bochdalek hernia is the left side and vary rare in right.
The purpose of this paper is to present the author´s recent experience in Daegu Presbyterian Hospital with a case of the congenital right Bochdalek hernia of which the only hernial content was the right lobe of liver, and discussed with literature reviewing.
